About me..

I was born in Tadepalli village in Andhra Pradesh. I did my schooling in "SKPVV Hindu High School", Vijayawada, up to class 12. Being a State Ranker in Class 12, I was selected by "Andhra Loyola College" to pursue Pre-University Course. After getting selected in the IIT Joint Entrance Examination in 1967, I graduated with B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from "IIT-Madras" in 1972. Thereafter, I was selected in the All India Competitive Examination conducted by "NITIE", Mumbai, and completed a 2-Year Post-Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering (equal to MBA) in 1974. Throughout my studies, I have been a "National Merit Scholarship" holder. I also completed Costing Course from ICWAI.

 

I have an endless passion for improving the Quality of Higher Education in India. My mission is “to Groom Students into Competent Professionals, with Values”, and in order to fulfil it, I have been implementing various strategies at ICFAI University Jharkhand, since becoming the Vice Chancellor of the University in 2011.

I have published a number of papers in reputed Journals and addressed seminars in India and abroad, on diverse topics like Strategy, Technology, Industry Analysis, Higher Education, Career Planning etc. In addition, I have been the Consulting Editor of a cutting-edge technology publication, Internet of Things, which was published by the ICFAI University Press.​
